Masala Chaas

A refreshing summer coolant, Masala Chaas is the easiest, quickest and healthy summer drink made with yogurt and fresh herbs.

Ingredients

    1 cup curd
  • Image
    4 sprigs of fresh mint leaves
  • Image
    1 green chilli
  • Image
    1/4 tsp black pepper powder (freshly crushed)
  • Image
    1/2 tsp roasted jeera (cumin) powder
  • Image
    1/4 tsp chaat masala (optional)
  • Image
    1/3 tsp salt
  • Image
    1/2 tsp Black salt
  • Image
    1 1/2 cups water – from matkha (clay pot)

Method

  • Image
    Add all ingredients to a blender.
  • Image
    Blend till combined.
  • Image
    Pour into serving glasses, garnish with fresh cilantro or mint and serve.
