Multigrain cheela

A quick and healthy snack which is an instant, crispy and perfect recipe to accompany your tea or for a quick breakfast on a lazy weekend morning:

Ingredients

    300 grams of multigrain flour
  • For the Cheela

  • Image
    1-cup curd
  • Image
    1 tbsp. green chilies
  • Image
    1/4 cup tomato
  • Image
    1/4 cup onion
  • Image
    Salt to taste
  • Image
    1 cup water
  • Image
    Oil for shallow frying
  • For Dips

  • Image
    Red Dip
  • Image
    1/2 cup hung curd
  • Image
    1 tbsp. garlic juice
  • Image
    1 tsp. red chili powder
  • Image
    Salt to taste
  • Image
    Green Dip
  • Image
    1/2 cup hung curd
  • Image
    1/4 cup mint purée
  • Image
    Salt to taste

Method

  • For the Cheela

  • Image
    In a bowl add the multigrain flour.
  • Image
    Now add curd, chopped chilies, chopped tomatoes, chopped onions, salt to taste and water.
  • Image
    Give it a nice mix and rest for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Image
    In a pan add little oil and make small pancakes (Cheela).
  • Image
    Cook on both the sides on a slow heat.
  • For the Dips

  • Image
    In a bowl mix all ingredients together nicely.
  • Image
    Refrigerate and chill.

    Assemble the cheelas with filling dip of your choice in between two cheelas and serve hot with the cold dips!!
