A healthy snack made with Urad Dal, this lip-smacking halwa is an amazing weight gaining dessert for babies, toddlers and kids.

Ingredients

    Urad dal 1cup

    Milk 1 ½ cup

    Sugar ½ cup
  • Image
    Pure ghee 100 gram
  • Image
    Cashew nuts 7-8
  • Image
    Almonds 7-8
  • Image
    Pistachio 7-8
  • Image
    Raisins 15-20

Method

  • Image
    Soak Urad dal overnight and then in the morning, grind it in a mixture.
  • Image
    Heat a pan with ghee in it and pour the grinded Dal batter in after the ghee is golden.

    Continue stirring the mixture until the batter changes its color to a little brown and starts to leave syrup at the ends. At this point add milk and stir well.

    Once it is mixed, add sugar and nuts to the mixture and keep stirring.
