    1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

    1 teaspoon brown sugar

    12 slices of bread
  • Maple Pumpkin Butter

    1 stick, salted or unsalted butter, room temperature

    ⅓ cup pumpkin butter
  • Image
    3 tablespoon maple syrup
  • Image
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Image
    1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • Image
    ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Method

  • Pumpkin Spiced French Toast

    Whisk together the eggs, milk, pumpkin puree, vanilla, cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice.

    Pour mixture into a rectangular baking dish.

    Dip the bread into the mixture, flip sides and then place on a hot skillet.

    Cook until each side is golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side. Repeat process and serve hot!

    In a small mixing bowl, add the softened butter and whisk until light and fluffy.

    Add the pumpkin puree, maple syrup or honey, vanilla, cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice. Beat until fluffy and fully mixed.
